Hello! 

My name is Lisa, I'm a mom to two biological children and two stepchildren. I live with my husband (who doesn't enjoy reading! Scandalous!) children and a dozen animals... and of course I adore reading!

As a child I loathed reading! You see I'm dyslexic and therefore reading did not come easily to me, at.all. Letters like to dance around the page, stagger and move. Very frustrating as you can most likely imagine. 

You may be wondering how on earth I came to adore reading and the written word in general. Well...I can thank my mom. She is an avid reader (as are my siblings) and she read in front of me and more importantly... to me. Yes I hated the process of reading, but I loved a story! I have a wicked imagination and, thanks to my dyslexia, an ability to imagine things in a 3D way.

One day she got me hooked on a comic.... another month she brought me the book series (one book at a time) Wicca by Cate Tiernan... and sparked my love... I couldn't get enough! More! What other genres are there.... holy crap... and who is Kelley Armstrong! Love!

My children are much the same... dyslexic, loving the stories themselves and hating the actual process of reading... that's ok... one day they'll find that one book that hooks them.
