"Feyre is a huntress. And when she sees a deer in the forest being pursued by a wolf, she kills the predator and takes its prey to feed herself and her family. But the wolf was not what it seemed, and Feyre cannot predict the high price she will have to pay for its death ...
Dragged away from her family for the murder of a faerie, Feyre discovers that her captor, his face obscured by a jewelled mask, is hiding even more than his piercing green eyes suggest. As Feyre's feelings for Tamlin turn from hostility to passion, she learns that the faerie lands are a far more dangerous place than she realized. And Feyre must fight to break an ancient curse, or she will lose him forever."
If you're part of the bookstagrammer family on Instagram, you know this book! A court of thorns and roses, or ACOTAR for short, is a masterpiece! Sarah J. Maas is an author that needs a film or series deal!
But I'm getting carried away. Let's start from the beginning. Our main character is Feyre, a poor girl who pretty much looks after her sisters and father by herself. One day she's hunting for food and shoots a creature, wondering if it's a faery, a being that she hates and fears. Later on another fae comes and gives her a choice: die or come to the fae world. She chooses the fae world and thus begins her adventures.
Now A LOT happens in this book, and I cannot possibly note it all here, or I'd be telling you the book! But there are trials, romance, deception and mystery.
If you enjoyed Hunger games or the maze runner, you'll like this book!
You need to read this book! Feyre and Tamlin have a cute relationship (though he does let some sh*t happen to her, that I cannot forgive honestly, I already like Rhys!) and they fight for each other, and Feyre almost destroys herself in the name of love and freeing all fae from an evil woman.
There are trials-literally- and the book grips you tight and doesn't let you go; you wake up thinking about it, you go to bed thinking bout it and you dream it. Sleep can wait, because I need to read this book!
So here's a caution: do not start reading it if you need to wait up early the next day!
5/5!
Sarah J. Maas you have a fan of me!

Have you read ACOTAR? Have you started or finished the others?
Do you like Tamlin or Rhys? Honestly I started out with Tamlin, but I'm liking Rhys now.
